I'm here. In school. In the library. And I'm going to tell you about the yellows I neglected yesterday.
Now, I'm sure you all have been taught that oranges are always orange. I mean, that's why it's got that name, right? Wrong. Yesterday I ate a YELLOW orange. Since maternal unit has instituted the citrus race (which, by the way, I'm winning) I have been eating many oranges. Sodobergsan took offense at the yellow, but I think it tasted the same. *shrug* Go figure.
I put Austin in for OOTM (finally). I hope he wins. If not, I hope he reads it and votes for himself. Slusser nominated his liason officer. Austin is waaaaay better than her.
I just fell over dead. SOMEONE COMMENTED! (/^.^)/ \(^.^\) I'm so happy! However, it was a sarchastic comment. But, still, it's the thought that counts.
Um, I took a chemistry test. Blegh. Not fun. And Susan proceeded to tell me about the jokes on the news and updates board I've told her at least twice before. Grrr.
Aunt Diane is coming tommorow.
The people sititng next to me are Freshmen doing the project I did last year. It's so cool!
I posted. Read some of the Avenger board. Ethan is so stuffy, even to Kelly. Come ON!
I think I'm done now 'cause school's almost over. Baibi.

You will never guess what I found! I was looking on the "recently published blogs" sidebar and I saw one call "Everybody Loves Ramen." Naturally, I clicked on it. And what did I find? Read under the "I am a chocolate frog" banner, and you will see my joy. Click here for uber funniness
BTW, I'm:
Which Harry Potter Candy are you? brought to you by Quizilla
If you didn't click on the link and want to see it there first, don't read the next sentence yet. For all the rest of you who are lazy bums, her is what it says, and I quote: "I'm a chocolate frog! and Oliver Wood is HOT!!!"
Um, anyway, I ;m sad because NO ONE READS MY BLOG! *cry* I work so hard on it! I try to be interesting and funny! And NO ONE CARES! *cry some more*
I'm done now.
My mother has been blasting Smooth Jazz all day, and I think the lysol might have gone to her head or something. The police might come for disturbing the peace. Weird...
Had to explain to Sig about the "I poked Katana, ask me how!" He wrote a nice little poem. Which reminds me...
*discreetly steals cheerleader megaphone with (insert ditzy food name here) on the side* IF YOU'RE IN THE FDTF, GO TO THE AWARDS CEREMONY ON SUN., 24 @ 4:00 PM! *returns megaphone for fear of being infected with mysterious cheerleader disease (which is a relative of mysterious Eagle disease, only worse. You turn into a *gasp* CHEERLEADER!)*
Um... School.. We got to watch a movie on NINJA staring this old foggie with a BRITTISH ACCENT! OH! 'Tis funny...
See, several years ago, Matt and I used to ride the same bus, right? Right. So anyway, we were talking about something random (like usual) and since Austin wasn't there, it's wasn't an arguement *gasp*. Anyhoo, somehow we got on the subject of chicken rice, which I to this day am not enitirely sure what it is, and he used the expression "tear the walls down" (conplete wiht hand motions). I believe at this point he was reading that wonky book about the butler, so I assumed it was just a saying form there, or perhaps a regional thing, seeing as this was just after I moved to good ol' VA. You see, at this point in time, I was still in the "context clues" phase from which I am now trying to move away. So, I just smiled and nodded and went on my happy way. Actually, his stop was first so it was more like he went and I was just merry. Moving on, I have attempted to decipher the meaning of this more than once, but I was never actually quite sure. So, I asked him about it this morning. Then, after a big, long, round the bush, um... thingy he confirmed, as I thought, it meant you were excited. Then, he said "I've go a retort" and I said "How can you have a retort to a statement" and then he said "Okay, maybe more like a response. A retorty response. But I won't tell you now 'cause ther are people." I was confused, but didn't say anything. Then, he didn't tell before Math because of time and the same for before Japanese. Then, at lunch, the suspense ended. He started going into this heartfelt thing because I had mentioned "tear the walls down" might have somethign to do with tearing them down to get away. Then I said "Do you remeber what you said" and he said "no" and I quoted from the above conversation about chicken rice and then he kinda sputtered and I'm sure he was embarassed. I couldn't see him because I was peeling my yellow (more on that later). Then, I told Erin and she said how it would make her day in drivers ed. It's good to know I'm loved.
NOTE: The above conversations were severly abbridged and are subject to garbling due to my bad memory.
E-mailing my grandmother HC pictures... I have to e-mail the CS too. Maa, Ato de.
Um.... What else?
Everyone who wants to do gift exchange, come to lunch on Monday, not that anyone will read this so not that it matters.
Looking at Soupgang photos. I can't tell. Are high schoolers? College? Ah, brain!
I hate how dial-up is so slow...
Oh, that reminds me. Rain:
Here are some thoughts about rain. I like rain better than sunshine beacuse then I can see and I don't have to worry about sneezing. Rain always makes me want to read or write, taking me back to my first love, words (Don't worry, dearheart. It doesn't count.). I find it's the only time I can write poetry other than haiku or limeriks, and I write best in the darkness. Also, I find my thoughts wander most in the rain. Ironically, in the rain is when I think about companionship the most even though I prefer to be alone in a storm. Very wierd. I think I'm done. Why doesn't someone else write about rain as a COMMENT *hinthint*? Not that ther is anyone to comment.
Hmmm.... What else? Oh. Here is the "quote of the day," as Katana would put it: "Andy has made the outrageous claim that he is better at Spanish than the average Russian student." Blatently untrue. You'd do well to stop lying, Andy. THE END IS NEAR! REPENT, ANDY, REPENT.
Now when I say the end is near, I mean it. So, I leave you with this one final thought:
"Don't the Detroit Lions play football?" Or, if you prefer, "I played quarterback!" Jaa.

Nice new pics at crystalstars. No updates for lianne, however.
Um... dunnno what to say now. Mama wants me to make Christmas list. *ACK* Christmas! So confusing... I think I may have to seek Vicky's guidance on this one, friends. Please pray.
I'll go on IM now and see who's on... baibi.

Hmmm.. Haven't posted in a while... Let's see...
No more squadron mission. Trevok cancelled it. So now we're doing "one good turn deserves another" in which we all switch bodies. Fun fun fun.
Ummm...Went to NY. Was raining. But, 'twas fun.
Didn't go to game on Saturday. But did go to (upside-down !)Citrus Fiesta! I won the fruit of the moth shirt but gave it to Amanda. We also made up an Amanda cadence:
Of Amandas there are two
One is me the other you
To each dot one will hussle
the other one has pit muscles
Um.... I can't find any clips of these duets! It is not being in the good. Bah.
Making up NPCs is not fun. Grrrr...
Saw Harry Potter on Thursday, again today. Am angry with all the cuts. VALENTINE'S DAY!? WHY!?
I'll say no more. Evil is still afoot. Quickly, to the Mandamobile, away!

Been trying to post for the past few days. I wrote a nice one on Wednesday, but I accidentally highlighted it and typed over it. Then my window got closed. Then I got kicked off the internet (again). So, let's make this nice and good.
Well, I talked to Trevok. We're going on the squadron mission 'cause I said so. I love being the captain. I convinced Katana that she should take the command course that way she would have her options open and she would have a higher rank then Kim and I know my ship would be in good hands should I, um, something. I am never to suggest that I will die in her presence ever again. So, yeah. She's gonna stay doctor, but it's a nice thing to have under your belt. Besides, she's coming up on a year and a half in the FDTF. She may as well at least try it.
Was Jenny;s twin today for twin day. Jenny's TEMPORAL twin. Oh yes. Because since neither of us actually have a twin the only way for there to be two of us is if one travled from either the future or past to the present. Actually, this year's MB shirt is in the wash and I needed a 'scuse. So sue me (NOT REALLY).
Award ceremony. Must go. Yarg. WiIl post it now... Sun Nov. 24 at 4pm EST which is 9pm GMT. Kay...
Anyway... Practice is cold. We're all wearing glove in NY. NY is two days away. Yay. We get to miss school. Ah, school.
Food is here, so I will go. Baibi.

Went to go see Mt Big Fat Greek Wedding with Tana (again). Twas fun. Now that my mother erased it all, I will again attempt to share my research on Scottish Weddings:

---Wear White Heather
---A delegation was formed just to deal with this part of the feast which consisted of cold chicken, roast mutton, scones and bannocks, fresh and salt butter, new cheese and many another special delicacy of the island, with the ever-present tea, and whisky and port wine for the toasts.
---After the religious service, the wedding party was met at the church door with the firing of guns and the skirl of bagpipes, which, playing the fine tune Highland Wedding, led the procession home to the wedding breakfast. The celebration continued through the day and night. The guests sat down to the banquet in relays while songs and toasts were given, the songs often starting with a new song composed by the local bard especially for the occasion. Dancing began with a Scots foresome reel for the bride and groom and best man and first bridesmaid. Then the guests joined them on the floor and danced until morning.
---The following are suitable Scottish wedding and/or love songs. "Amazing Grace" isn't Scottish but is widely associated with Scotland.
Màiri's Wedding (Lewis Bridal song)
Queen of Argyll
An cluinn thu mi, mo nighean donn?
Màiri Bhàn Òg
Amazing Grace (makes good processional)
Highland Wedding
My love is like a red, red rose
Green grow the rashes (Robert Burns)
Òran na bainnse (The wedding song); in Gaelic Songs in Nova Scotia (Creighton and MacLeod), P98 with music and bilingual lyrics
---Wedding blessing
Mìle fàilte dhuit le d'bhréid,
Fad do ré gun robh thu slàn.
Móran làithean dhuit is sìth,
Le d'mhaitheas is le d'nì bhi fàs.
Translated as:
"A thousand welcomes to you with your marriage kerchief,
may you be healthy all your days.
May you be blessed with long life and peace,
may you grow old with goodness and with riches."
This is attributed to the Rev. Donald MacLeod, minister of Duirinish, Skye, Scotland c. 1760.

Öndótt Oakengoat
(Well, actually, that wouldn't really be your name -- since you're female, your name would be something like "Öndótt Björnsdottir". But this is the twenty-first century, and you want to be known for who you are, not for who your father was, right? Right.)
Your Viking Personality: You're a fearsome Viking, but you aren't completely uncivilized. The other Vikings make fun of you for that. You're not a belligerent person by nature, which is unfortunate if you want to be a Viking. You're not a "berserker", but you're among the toughest sane Vikings around.
A long sea voyage aboard a Viking longboat would be difficult for you, but you might be able to manage it. You possess some skills which other Vikings respect.
You don't have a lot of tact, so it's lucky Vikings never cared much for diplomacy. You sometimes come off as a bit of a snob. Vikings are not snobbish people -- they either like you, or they kill you. Try to be more like a Viking.
What's YOUR Viking Name?
Was woken up at 6:50 today thanks to parents and parent-teacher conference. Going to go play PM2 now. Cya.
